Biografia:
Influenciada por vários estilos, como o powerpop setentista, o country e o folk-rock, a banda escocesa Attic Lights formou-se em Glasgow no começo dos anos 2000. O grupo extraiu seu nome (assim como o título do seu EP de estréia, "The Attic Lights", de 2005), de um sótão escuro que abrigava os seus ensaios iniciais. "Shiver The Trees", o seu segundo EP, foi lançado em 2006. O debute em disco longo aconteceu em 2008, com "Friday Night Lights", editado pela nova gravadora da banda, a Island Records (Matt Collar, site AllMusic; tradução livre do inglês).
