Biografia:

Agradavelmente inspirado no período psicodélico dos Beatles, bem como nos riffsD mais pesados dos anos 70, a popstar banda alternativa Tripping Daisy reuniu-se em Dallas, em 1991. Composta pelo vocalista e guitarrista Tim DeLaughter, o guitarrista Wes Berggren, o baixista Mark Pirro e o baterista Mitch Marine, a banda trabalhou na região e começou a gravar logo em seguida. Uma destacada sessão, "Lost And Found", apareceu numa compilação lançada pela rádio local KDGE-FM e entrou nas paradas da estação. Em 1993, a Tripping Daisy figurou bem no Dallas Observer Music Awards e lançou seu primeiro álbum, "Bill", pela Dragon Street Records. Depois que o quarteto assinou com a Island, a gravadora relançou "Bill" e mais um EP com cinco músicas ao vivo, para só então lançar "I Am An Elastic Firecracker", em 1995. O terceiro álbum, "Jesus Hits Like The Atom Bomb", surgiu em 1998.
